Is There a Control Resonant Demo, Beta or Playtest?

No downloadable public demo, beta, open playtest or trial for Control Resonant has been announced as of July 25, 2026. The official Remedy release announcement, PlayStation store listing and Steam page advertise the full game and pre-orders, but none currently lists a public demo entitlement or beta schedule.

Why reports mention a “demo”

PlayStation Blog published a Summer Game Fest hands-on report based on a roughly 90-minute media preview build. The writer began near the start of the game, tried Dylan’s movement and combat, and finished with a large boss encounter. That controlled press session is evidence about gameplay, but it is not evidence that players can download the same build.

How to verify a future announcement

Check the game’s Steam page for a dedicated “Download Demo” control, the PlayStation and Xbox product pages for a trial product, and Remedy’s official game news. Avoid downloads shared through file hosts, unofficial launchers or videos that do not link back to a platform listing. Wishlisting the game is currently the legitimate way to receive storefront updates.
