Control Resonant on Xbox Series X|S: What Is Confirmed

Control Resonant launches on Xbox Series X and Series S on September 24, 2026; Xbox One and Game Pass status explained.

Last reviewed July 17, 2026

Quick answer

Control Resonant releases for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on September 24, 2026. Remedy lists both current Xbox consoles among the launch platforms. No Xbox One version has been announced.

Is Control Resonant on Xbox Game Pass?

There is no announced Game Pass release as of July 17, 2026. A confirmed Xbox launch is not the same as confirmed subscription access. Unless Remedy or Xbox announces otherwise, plan on purchasing the game.

Series X and Series S performance

Remedy has not published final resolution, frame-rate, or graphics-mode targets for either console. Series S is officially supported, but claims about its visual settings should wait for official specifications or verified launch testing.

Does it support Xbox One?

No Xbox One edition appears in Remedy’s official platform list. The announced Xbox versions are Series X and Series S only. Cloud availability through GeForce NOW does not create an Xbox One-native version.

What to check before launch

Look for the download size, pre-load schedule, console graphics modes and accessibility list when store metadata is finalized. The platform hub separates confirmed information from pending specifications, while the release guide tracks launch timing and editions.

The Xbox product page currently identifies Xbox Play Anywhere. That is relevant to Microsoft-store console and Windows access, but it does not grant a Steam or Epic copy and should not be confused with Game Pass inclusion. See the dedicated Play Anywhere guide.

Detail on Control Resonant can change before release. Verify anything time-sensitive against Remedy's official channels. See our sources & method.
