Control Resonant PS5 Pro Gameplay: What Was Confirmed
Control Resonant's first gameplay footage ran on PS5 Pro. Learn what that confirms—and why it does not yet prove final resolution or frame-rate modes.

Quick answer
Remedy confirmed that the first CONTROL Resonant gameplay footage shown around State of Play was running on PlayStation 5 Pro. This demonstrates a native current-generation PlayStation build, but it does not publish the final Pro graphics modes.
What the footage establishes
The official PlayStation article identifies PS5 Pro as the captured hardware and then explains combat, Manhattan’s handcrafted zones and buildcrafting. It is therefore valid evidence for the platform used in that demonstration. It is not a benchmark: edited footage cannot establish locked frame rate, internal resolution, ray tracing, PSSR use or parity with a retail build.
The game also releases on the standard PS5. No official source says PS5 Pro is required, and no content has been announced as exclusive to the enhanced console. Standard and Digital Deluxe purchase differences are edition questions, not hardware-feature differences.
What to wait for
Useful final comparisons require named quality/performance modes, their resolution targets, frame-rate caps and confirmation of DualSense or accessibility behavior in the shipping build. Those details should be added after a PlayStation store update, Remedy specification or measured retail test.
For confirmed PS5 purchase details, see the PS5 guide. The nine listed accessibility features come from the store and are separate from performance. If you are comparing platforms rather than console models, use the platform and performance hub so a preview capture is not presented as a final technical verdict.
