Flurry Aberrant Form: Twin Daggers & Critical Chance
Flurry is Control Resonant's fast, close-range twin-dagger Primary Form with an increased critical-hit chance; see its confirmed role and tradeoffs.

Quick answer
Flurry is a fast, close-range twin-dagger Primary Form for the Aberrant. The official Xbox Wire hands-on describes it as attacking quickly and receiving a boosted critical chance. It is one of three forms offered in the opening choice, alongside Slash and Slice.
Confirmed combat identity
Flurry’s published description establishes three useful facts: it uses paired daggers, operates at short range and favors many rapid hits. That makes it the speed-focused option in the first choice. The preview does not publish exact attack speed, critical percentage, damage values or a final moveset, so those numbers should not be inferred from footage.
The form’s close reach is an important limitation. A Flurry player must stay near a target, where enemy attacks and crowd pressure are harder to ignore. Its quick sequence may make it easier to maintain Control Resonant’s aggression loop, but Remedy has not confirmed whether every individual hit restores an identical amount of Combat Ability resource.
When the choice appears
In the media build, Dylan receives the Aberrant during the opening sequence and chooses between Flurry, Slash and Slice. Xbox Wire says the other forms can be unlocked later, so selecting Flurry is not described as permanently deleting access to the alternatives.
The choice still matters because it defines the first basic-attack moveset. Secondary Forms and Combo Enders are separate slots added later, allowing a short-range Primary Form to be paired with reach, impact or another finishing role.
Sensible pairing logic
Before final balance data exists, the safe build principle is coverage rather than a claim that Flurry is “best.” A longer-range Secondary Form such as Extend can address Flurry’s reach, while a heavier finisher can supply burst impact. See the Primary, Secondary and Combo Ender guide for the slot structure and the full Aberrant form list for confirmed alternatives.
