Primary Forms, Secondary Forms & Combo Enders Explained
The Aberrant build uses Primary Forms, Secondary Forms and Combo Enders to combine speed, range, impact and finishing attacks.

Quick answer
The Aberrant is configured through Primary Forms, Secondary Forms and Combo Enders. Primary and Secondary selections let Dylan change attack speed, reach and combat role during a sequence, while Combo Enders provide powerful finishing actions.
Primary Forms
A Primary Form supplies the standard melee foundation of a build. Official footage shows Dylan using a heavy two-handed hammer and fast dual blades, but Remedy has not released the complete final form list or every unlock requirement.
Secondary Forms
Secondary Forms are activated within combat to change the shape and function of the weapon. A PlayStation hands-on report describes the standard strike and a chosen Secondary Form being used together to create combos. Control mappings differ by platform and can be remapped on PS5.
Combo Enders
Combo Enders cap an attack string with a more powerful action. They are presented as their own category in The Gap rather than merely the last animation of every form. Exact input windows, damage values and unlock trees need final-game verification.
How to combine the three layers
A useful loadout should solve more than one range or tempo problem. A fast Primary can maintain pressure, a heavy Secondary can punish openings, and an Ender can convert the sequence into burst damage or control. Talents then amplify the relationship between the selected forms and supernatural abilities.
What is confirmed versus pending
The three-part structure and hammer/dual-blade examples are official. A complete form database, final stats, upgrade costs and best combinations are not. See all known Aberrant forms for the cautious pre-release roster and Talents for progression interactions.
