Altered Item Chase Activities in Control Resonant
Remedy has teased chasing Altered Items as optional activity in Control Resonant's zones. Learn what is confirmed and what a real guide will require.

Quick answer
Altered Item chases are teased as one type of optional activity inside CONTROL Resonant’s Manhattan zones. Remedy has not released an item list, exact chase count, locations or rewards.
Why “chase” is meaningful
The official world-design article places Altered Items beside encounters, environmental challenges, hidden discoveries and other optional activities. The phrasing suggests an active discovery or pursuit rather than only reading a static collectible document. It also preserves a recognizable part of the Control universe while moving exploration into Manhattan.
That evidence supports an activity overview, but not individual item pages. A useful item guide needs a verified name, starting condition, exact zone, route or puzzle, containment outcome and reward. Generating those fields before gameplay evidence would create placeholders.
How this cluster will expand
After reliable hands-on or review access, each distinct Altered Item can receive one canonical page when it answers a real location or solution query. A hub can then organize chases by zone and prerequisite. Duplicate pages for an item’s name, location and reward should be avoided unless those searches require materially different answers.
The Altered Items overview covers their returning lore role. Optional activities separates chases from World Quests, while handcrafted zones explains where this content sits. Until named items are published, the sitemap should contain this grounded activity page rather than dozens of empty routes.
