Aberrant Combo Enders: The Third Weapon Slot
Combo Enders are a separate Aberrant weapon pool used for special finishing moves after attack chains, alongside Primary and Secondary Forms.

Quick answer
Combo Enders occupy the Aberrant’s third weapon slot and provide special finishing moves after attack chains. They are chosen from their own pool, separate from the Primary Form used for basic attacks and the Secondary Form used for special or charged attacks.
The three-part weapon loadout
Control Resonant does not ask Dylan to equip one fixed melee weapon. The Aberrant loadout combines three layers:
- a Primary Form for the main attack sequence;
- a Secondary Form for special or charged attacks;
- a Combo Ender that finishes an attack chain.
This lets the player mix moves from different shapes instead of accepting every strength and weakness of one weapon archetype. Xbox Wire describes combinations that blend quick attacks with the heavy Crush mallet, illustrating cross-slot construction.
What is not yet published
The names and complete roster of Combo Ender forms have not been released. Official previews confirm the pool and its purpose, but not every input string, timing window, damage value or unlock condition. Pages claiming a full combo list before those details exist would be placeholders.
Combo Enders should also not be confused with executions. Executions occur after abilities help stun an enemy and temporarily boost melee damage. A Combo Ender is part of the equipped Aberrant attack chain.
Planning around the slot
The safe pre-release approach is to use the finisher to cover a need left by the two main forms: focused impact, area coverage or another role once the official roster is known. Talents and form-specific skill trees can further change how a sequence behaves.
Read Primary and Secondary Forms for the whole framework, then compare Flurry, Slash, Slice, Crush, Drill and Extend for the forms named so far.
Detail on Control Resonant can change before release. Verify anything time-sensitive against Remedy's official channels. See our sources & method.
