Aberrant Weapon Form Upgrade Trees Explained
Each Aberrant weapon form has an upgrade tree with specialized alternatives and modifiers. Learn what is confirmed without inventing unreleased nodes.

Quick answer
Each Aberrant weapon form has its own upgrade tree, and those trees can unlock specialized alternate forms plus modifier effects. Exact node names, costs and numerical bonuses have not been published.
How the trees fit the loadout
The Aberrant loadout has three functional slots: a Primary Form for basic attacks, a Secondary Form for special or charged actions, and a Combo Ender for a finisher after an attack chain. The upgrade tree belongs to the selected form rather than replacing that slot structure.
This matters because the six currently named forms already have different jobs. Flurry emphasizes speed and critical chance, Slash covers groups, Slice pressures a single target, Crush provides heavy impact, Drill sustains directed damage, and Extend adds reach. An upgrade tree can deepen one of those identities or branch it, but current evidence does not support publishing a complete node database.
What a useful pre-release plan looks like
Choose a Primary and Secondary role that solve different problems, then reserve the Combo Ender for the result you want at the end of a chain. Treat any footage-derived damage numbers as temporary, because balance can change before launch.
The Primary/Secondary/Combo Ender guide explains the slots. The six-form overview links to each named weapon page. For progression outside the weapon, compare Talent choices and Combat Abilities; these are separate pillars managed through the Gap.
